Bossa is passionate about the wines we select. We propose sustainable farming practices in the production of winemaking. We are a California based importer dedicated to finding the best of these types of boutique wineries producing the most unique and healthiest wines. Our wines can be found on the wine lists of top restaurants throughout southern California.

We are proud to introduce Viñedo de los Vientos (translation: Vineyard of the Winds), a dynamic organically-sustainable winery located outside Montevideo, Uruguay. The vineyard’s close proximity to the Rio de la Plata, the largest freshwater estuary in the world and Atlantic Ocean provides clean cool ocean breezes and an ideal climate for the maturation of fine wine grapes.

The winery is owned by Pablo Fallabrino, a young 4th generation winemaker from the Piedmont region of Italy. He is a true steward of the environment who supports sustainable winegrowing practices. The grapes are organically grown with absolutely no use of pesticides. Non-till farming is also used, keeping native cover crops between the rows. Alejandro, Pablo’s brother is an environmental activist and runs a project off the Uruguayan coast for the protection of sea turtles.
